UMA3H is an AU inspired by Fire Emblem: Three Houses wherein writers are encouraged to take their muses into a whole new direction through unique setting of this Fire Emblem entry.Umas take the roles of students and staff in Tracen Mach Monastery, which houses the Officers' Academy. Nobles and commoners in the continent of Fódlan spend the days facing challenges and threats of war, creating new bonds with their peers and rivals, or simply enjoying the brand new world of medieval times without strict ties to their Umamusume counterparts. There will be big event battles which will progress the story, making this a longterm storyline! Since this is expected to take a couple of months (if not a year), we do not expect full dedication to the storyline. Layouts and pinneds dedicated to this SL are optional. This is an open invite deal, at anytime and without the need to have played the game, so feel free to approach one of the organizers once you're ready to jump in, and enjoy!
Notice: Registrations are temporarily closed. Anyone who approaches for registration will automatically be kept in the waitlist for a period of time.
For clarification: "Chapters" are used as a sort of time stamp to refer to major events that have a great impact on the storyline. The Fódlan calendar will also be used alongside the Gregorian calendar for reference. Some dates may overlap with different chapters; they're usually the result of a retcon.
Imperial Year 1180
Prologue
The academic year of the Officers Academy began on the 23rd of the Great Tree Moon (April 23). Introductions of all the initial characters were made.
Chapter 0.5
Fishing Tournament

A fishing tournament was held for the three houses. This initially started as a individual contest, until it was decided that the scores of each members would be tallied per house. The winner of that tournament is the house of Golden Deer.
Chapter 1
Rivalry of the Houses

The announcement for the Mock Battle was made on the 27th of the Great Tree Moon (April 27), and held on the 30th of that same month (April 30). The battle unfortunately had to be put to a premature end in concern for the students' safety due to a forest fire endangering the lives of the students. After tending to everyone's wounds, the faculty had a deliberation on who the winning house would be, and it was decided upon to be the Black Eagles. This announcement was made on the 4th of the Harpstring Moon (May 4), the same date that the celebratory banquet was held.Archived with the #UMA3H_Ch1 tag.
Chapter 1.5
Passing of Torches

Before the celebratory banquet, there was a change of house leaders for the Black Eagles on the 2nd of the Harpstring Moon (May 2). The change was done privately from the first house leader, Symboli Rudolf, to the new house leader, Mejiro McQueen. She then appointed Mejiro Ardan as her retainer. There was also a change of house leaders for the Blue Lions on the 10th of the Harpstring Moon (May 10), with it being decided via voting by the students of that house. Leadership was transferred from Sirius Symboli to Rice Shower. She then appointed Maruzensky as her retainer. The old house leader of Golden Deer, Seiun Sky, also retired her position, believing that that a house that reprsents the Alliance is best governed by everyone. The house has since then shifted to be a community council, with Nice Nature as their representative/spokesperson.Sometime during the shift of Golden Deer's governance, Orfevre was enrolled in Tracen Mach Monastery albeit refused to join any of the three houses. To compromise, she was instead allowed to establish her own house — the Ashen Wolves.
Chapter 2
Phase 1: Familiar Scenery
Phase 2: Hook, Line, and Sinker
Phase 3: The Nature of Light

The abrupt departure of both the Imperial Princess and the Crown Prince were both worrying signs of what's to come — a looming presence started to haunt the Church of Seiros, forcing the Central Church to visit the Adrestian Empire. Before they left on the 19th of the Harpstring Moon (May 19), the Church entrusted a handful of students and staff, a taskforce called as the Special Guards, to watch over the place. Meanwhile, an ominous poem mysterious appeared on the bulletin boards for the rest of the students to see.McQueen was ambushed on the 25th of the same month (May 25), pushing students to stick together and investigate the monastery. They eventually convened at the place of her attack on the night of the 28th (May 28), unknowingly triggering a widespread possession that affected half of the students. Once under control, they investigated a wine cellar hidden in a nearby tower that leaves traces of a cult's influence — the belongings of those who were not of this world, and even going as far as to witness a failed ritual that summoned a different world's Nice Nature.Archived with the #UMA3H_Ch2 tag.
Chapter 2.5
Concordia Festival

Approximately two weeks after the events of Chapter 2, the Sakura Consortium represented by Bakushin proposed a festival to bolster the morale of the monastery this is totally not for the Consortium to establish connections past the Leicester Alliance. This was approved, and on the 14th of the Garland Moon (June 14), the Concordia Festival started and took place just outside of the monastery. This also brought about a jousting tournament which ran from the 19th to the 21st (June 19-21), with the overall champion being [INSERT CHARACTER HERE]. The Concodia Festival officialy ended on the 23rd (June 23).Archived with the #UMA3H_Fest tag.
These are the events of the SL so far.

Hi this is my dump page for now. Ignore. - RamenThis section includes all the art (commissioned or fanart) that was made for UMA3H. All the images found in the gallery below can be interacted with and will send to the original post.
On behalf of UMA3H, I'd like to thank Venny (@Vennyyyy_Draws on Twitter) for being our main artist for commissions — I am also so not sorry for overwhelming your commission list & waitlist with people wanting horsegirls in armor. Please check them out if you have the time!

About the World
The world of UMA3H takes place in a continent called Fódlan, which is then separated into three nations: Adrestian Empire in the south, the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus in the north, and the Leicester Alliance in the east. For more information on each nation, including the prominent noble families, please refer to the available subsections found in the buttons above this paragraph. Note however, that the lore for each nation will be slightly different compared to FE3H's.A comprehensive timeline of Fódlan's history (read: major wars) is also provided above in "Historical Events". Feel free to return to them as reference since they provide a time frame for certain events that may be important to a nation's history.

This map is a semi-original map based on FE3H's Fódlan, now with changes applied to the territories found within the continent that are applicable to UMA3H's lore, not FE3H's. This was made by one of our consultants, Mudsy, on Inkarnate.
Though the three nations have a long history of tensions against each other and clashing ideologies, they now live in relative peace and harmony with the help of the Church of Seiros, a religious, neutral faction whose influence spreads throughout the continent. In central Fódlan lies the Oghma Mountains. This is where Tracen Mach Monastery is establised and serves as the main headquarters of the Church. Within said monastery is the Officers Academy, a facility that trains students in warfare and serves as a great opportunity for them to make powerful connections. As such, nobles from all over the continent send their heirs to study in the academy for a year. The academy is also open to commoners, but due to the expensive enrollment fee, enrollment is only possible via sponsorship from nobles or from their community.

If you are unfamiliar with FE3H and thus unfamiliar with the layout of the monastery, there are some gameplay videos that serve as a tour of the campus. Ramen personally recommends two: the first one for a shorter (7 mins), more comprehensive tour, albeit with a protagonist that runs all over the place. Then the second one if you don't mind a longer (30 mins) but slower and more in-depth pace of exploration. Get ready to skip over a lot of dialogue though.Garreg Mach Monastery is an insanely huge campus with many interconnecting areas, making it overwhelming for anyone new. I personally still get lost if I don't use fast travel in the game. Please take your time to familiarize yourself with the area.
As the Officers Academy emulates a microcosm of Fódlan, students are then assigned to three different houses based on their current residence: Black Eagles for those from the Adrestian Empire, Blue Lions for those from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and Golden Deer for those from the Leicester Alliance. These three houses are not to be confused with noble houses, which refer to families/lineages of nobility. More information about the three can be found in the "Three Houses" subsection.
About Crests

Crests are blood blessings from the Goddesses that were bestowed upon a select number of historical heroes in Fódlan — said figures encompass the Ten Elites, the Four Saints, and the Four Apostles. These people would then spread throughout the continent and become the founders of different noble houses. As they pass the divine boon to their descendants, it would either manifest in the form of a major Crest or a minor Crest; they simply differ in terms of their power's potency. Those who are bear a Crest are then granted special powers such as a high aptitude for magic, enhanced strength, heightened senses, affinity for creatures, and other boons that give them an edge over others. Their power can also be used or suppressed at any point by its user. This propogated the idea that Crests define a person's worth, especially amongst the nobility. Thus, those of noble lineage are tested upon birth. Commoners can go about their life without knowing that they bear a Crest. However, all students of Tracen Mach Monastery are subjected to a blood test upon enrollment to check for a Crest.

Though Crests are hereditary, its inheritance is never guaranteed. There are instances of siblings inheriting the same Crest, inheritance skipping birth order (older is crestless, younger bears a Crest), or skipping whole generations altogether. It is also generally impossible for someone to bear two Crests at once as it imposes great strain on one's body. Historically, each noble house has their designated Crest from their founder, but it's becoming increasingly common for nobles to bear a Crest that doesn't belong to their house's hero due to mixed ancestry. If you'd like to learn more about Crests and specifically, the different ones available to choose from for character creation, it is recommneded to check the FE3H wiki about it.
HISTORICAL EVENTS
As you progress through reading the different summaries in each nation, certain events may be mentioned, albeit with a vague time frame in history. Below is a comprehensive timeline of Fódlan and its three nations' history, shaping it to be the continent that it is today.BIE is an acronym for "Before Imperial Era". Every other year beyond that is formally recognized with "Imperial Year" preceeding it (e.g. Imperial Year 1 as opposed to simply 1), it was simply removed since it'll be repetitive. Plus we don't say really 2025 CE casually, do we?EDITOR'S NOTE: The first few years of this history is inaccurate. We're slowly implementing the War of Heroes in this SL's background. Expect to see changes soon. Thanks!

ADRESTIAN EMPIRE

The Adrestian Empire is the oldest of the three nations and is ruled by a monarchy (emperor). It once reigned over the entirety of Fódlan. As of recent however, the power held by the Imperial Family is slowly diminishing due to dwindling numbers, even if they still rule the entirety of the land. The heads of different noble families in the Empire went from being advisors to being ministers of the Empire, giving them power to handle different aspects of governance. The Empire has rather tense relations with the Church. The latter has little to no influence over the nation as their branch for the Empire, the Southern Church, has long been abolished for an attempted coup. For a nation that spans wide throughout the continent, the Adrestian Empire has a rather consistent climate. Their access to the sea also gives them an upper hand in agricultural and fishery business in the land. The capital city, Enbarr, is located at the very south of the Empire.
The section below lists down all of the established noble families in the Adrestian Empire. If you intend to write a character of noble birth, you may establish your own house or join one by reaching out to any of the members of the noble house that you'd like to join.
House Symboli
(Imperial Branch)

The Imperial Family bears a rich history that traces back to the very foundation of the Adrestian Empire as we know it; it is currently headed by Emperor/Empress Symboli. The house was once the largest of its time and had the widest influence in the Fódlan (that was then just the Adrestian Empire). Due to conflicting ideologies of two of its major families, an internal rebellion would eventually lead to the widespread War of the Eagle and Lion. The battle would be lost by the Imperial side of the house, leading to the other branch to split and declare their independence by taking their northernmost territory, and forming the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. In addition to the Empire as a whole, House Symboli's primary territory is Imperial Symboli. The territory includes Enbarr, the nation's capital city and where the Imperial Palace is located. Other notable organizations in Enbarr include the Ministry of Imperial Household headed by House Black, and the Mittelfrank Opera Company. It is also the largest and most populous city in Fódlan. The current generation of the house includes Symboli Rudolf, the Imperial Princess and heir to the throne. She is accompanied by Tokai Teio, her half-sister, and Narita Brian, her adopted sister. To differentiate the Imperial Branch from the Royal Branch, members of this lineage keep their Symboli surname at the front of their names.
House Silence

Fan art used to depict Sunday Silence belongs to @tougaraaaaan in Twitter.
House Silence, lead by Duke Halo, is a prominent lineage of dukes, and recently, prime ministers. They act as the very head of all the ministers and serves as the Imperial Family's right hand in governance, thus also allowing them to rule over the Empire in addition to their established territory, Duchy Silence. Due to rising internal political conflicts though, the two noble houses often start to find themselves at odds with each other. The current generation includes Sunday Silence, their heir, and Wishing Well. However, due to Duke Halo's worsening sanity and Sunday's absence to attend Tracen Mach Monastery, Wishing Well is the house's current regent. They also have a subsidiary house: House Shiraoki, a line of counts. They're also somewhat closely related to each other, as the heirs of both houses are cousins.
House Daiwa

House Daiwa, headed by Duchess Daiwa, is one of the noble lineages that date as far back as the Empire's establishment. Their long history and steadfast loyalty with the Imperial Family makes them part of their advisory council, building their reputation as a house of great tacticians. Duchy of Daiwa also nearly-encompasses the Adrestian border of the Oghma Mountains.Daiwa Scarlet is the eldest daughter and heir to the family name. However, the original heir was once her elder brother who was slain in battle.
House Black

House Black is a noble line of margraves, who also handle the Ministry of Imperial Household. Due to the nature of their work, they reign over no land of their own, and instead reside in Enbarr with the Imperial Family. Its current head is Margrave Black. On the surface, the ministry orchestrates and brings charm to grand ceremonies, imperial festivals, coronations, and banquets, but whispers also speak of the house having their hands in some of the Empire's shadier responsibilities as well. The current generation of this noble house involves Kitasan Black, the heir and granddaughter of the current head. However, she supposedly had a cousin whose parents were meant to be next to the throne if they hadn't ran off to the Leicester Alliance...
House Fiori

House Fiori is a noble house that does not follow the aristocratic hierarchy. Existing since the very founding of the Empire, House Fiori has stood side by side with Imperial Family, acting as their bodyguard of sorts. A coup is outside the realm of possibility for as long as House Fiori stands, forever a stalwart shield for the Empire. Though they stand as a marquis household, they do not answer directly to the Imperial Family, or the ducal houses either.Marquisate Fiori includes the Brionac Plateau, a lush, vibrant stretch of land bordering the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. They act as both border guard, and as a form of control over the noble houses of the Empire. Due to their generally dettached nature with the rest of the houses, Marquisate Fiori could arguably operates more as autonomous region. The house is comprised of seven major families (Garofano, Giacinto, Giglio, L'Iris, Orchidea, Peonia, Rosa) that control different aspects of House Fiori. With every new generation, a major event called The Culling takes place to determine the heir and thus the head family who'll control the house. Currently, the head of this house is Marquis Gentildonna from Famigla Rosa with Tarumae from Famigla Giglio as her right hand.In-depth information of this house can be found here.
House Mejiro

House Mejiro, which is headed by Countess Mejiro Asama, rules over the Empire's Ministry of Military Affairs and has held a similar position since time immemorial, even going as back as the War of the Eagle and Lion. They control all armed forces in the Empire, with the head/minister becoming commander-in-chief should war arise. Due to their relations with House Jewel, the line of viscounts act as their second-in-commands.They also govern the County Mejiro, which borders the Leicester Alliance and gives them control to the Adrestian end of the Great Bridge of Myrddin. Notable locations also include Fort Mejiro, a fortified city and the county's capital; Gronder Field, a rich agricultural land that serves as the Empire's breadbasket; and Kaito, a small village lost to history. The hierarchy in the noble house is decided based on whether the member bears a Crest or not. Such example is present in the current generation of Mejiros, with McQueen being the current heir despite being born as the fifth daughter. In order of their births, the current generation also includes Ramonu, Ardan, Palmer, Ryan, McCarron, Dober and Bright. However, only McQueen, Ardan, and Ryan remain in the Adrestian Empire. Ramonu ran off with a Faerghian noble, Dober was sent to the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus due to an arranged marriage with Rulership, while Bright was sent to the Leicester Alliance for undisclosed diplomatic reasons. Palmer reportedly died in an accident five years ago, while McCarron supposedly died thirteen years ago.
House Shiraoki

Note: Undergoing lore reconstruction.
House Shiraoki is subsidiary of House Silence; they are a family of counts that govern the Empire's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They manage relations with other nations, diplomacy, and even stabilize the relations of the Empire's provinces with one another. They are currently headed by Count Shiraoki. The family also rules County Shiraoki which is east of the Brionac Plateau and spans to the westernmost coast of the Empire. This gives them a strong business for fisheries and maritime trade. The current generation only consists of the middle daughter and sole heir, Silence Suzuka. However, she has two sisters who fled in their early childhood; Silence Suzuran, the eldest, and Special Week, the youngest. It is said that both sisters found solace in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus...
House Cinderella

House Cinderella is a prestigious lineage of viscounts known for producing a history of renowned professors and scholars who served Tracen Mach Monastery in their time. The family distances themselves from the other noble houses in the Empire as they put more focus on their research. The current generation includes Fumino Nase, a newly enlisted professor in Tracen Mach Monastery who also helped establish the fourth house — the Ashen Wolves.
House Jewel

House Jewel is a subsidiary of House Mejiro; they answer directly to the family and assist them in strenghtening the Imperial army. The family is currently headed by Viscount Daiichi. They primarily use their land, Viscounty Jewel, as their main training grounds for squires and soldiers. They offer a vast array of companies that have their unique specializations, engaging the infantrymen to branch out of the usual fighting styles. Said companies are named after different jewels (e.g. Diamond Myrmidons, Emerald Cavalry, etc). The supposed heir, Daiichi Ruby, was disowned by the family due to her general misconduct and rebellion against the family's beliefs, particularly about the Crest caste system. They have had struggles appointing a new heir since then and has been the cause of the house's internal conflict.
HOLY KINGDOM OF FAERGHUS

The Holy Kingdom of Faerghus is ruled by a monarchy (king or queen) and its knights. The nation was founded by Sirius' ancestor after winning the War of Eagle and Lion, a battle that would would earn the territory their independence from the Adrestian Empire. They are currently ruled by Lord Regent Speed Symboli though, as the Crown Prince is deemed too young to rule.Currently, the Kingdom struggles to find their footing as they had recently underwent the Tragedy of Duscur, an event where the multiple members of nobility were assassinated en route to Duscur, now presently known as Viscounty Kleiman. The chaos and distrust brought about by this event is still felt by the people residing in the Kingdom to this day.Its relations with the Church is amicable, as it is the same organization that helped ease tensions between the Empire and the Kingdom after the war and helped establish its foundation. The Church also arguably has the most influence in the Kingdom right after central Fódlan/Tracen Mach Monastery. The Kingdom lies north of Fódlan, giving them a climate that's mostly composed of harsh winters, though it does become slightly more temperate as it moves down to the south. Its capital city is Fhirdad, which is located at the northeast corner of the nation. The city also houses a prestigous school for magic.

The section below lists down all of the established noble families in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. If you intend to write a character of noble birth, you may establish your own house or join one by reaching out to any of the members of the noble house that you'd like to join.
House Symboli
(Royal Branch)

The Royal Family is a branch of House Symboli; a noble lineage that rules the Adrestian Empire. Though their lineage has long diverged, the Royal Family is still harshly judged and considered to be "overshadowed" by its Imperial counterpart. This branch wield authority over the the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus in addition to their territory of Royal Symboli, but the status of its true head and thus ruler of the Kingdom is unknown. One of Sirius' relatives, Speed Symboli, did step up as lord regent and now reigns over the Kingdom until Sirius could take the throne. When Fódlan was merely known as the Adrestian Empire, House Symboli was the largest of its time and had widespread control over the land. However, two of its major families clashed in ideologies, causing an internal rebellion that eventually lead to the widespread War of the Eagle and Lion. The battle would be won by the Royal Family's ancestors, leading them to split from the original house and declare their independence by taking the northnestmost territory, then forming the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus with the help from the Church of Seiros. The current generation of the house includes Sirius Symboli, the Crown Prince, and Speed Symboli, the Lord Regent. To differentiate the Royal Branch from the Imperial Branch, members of this lineage keep their Symboli surname at the end of their names.
House Bianca

House Bianca, lead by Duchess Bianca, is a Ducal household presiding over a vast territory in the west of Faerghus, encompassing its west coast and border with the Adrestian Empire.
Known for being a House of skilled craftsmen and architects, they're the first place the Kingdom goes to when large temples and momuments are required, with many of Faerghus' staple architectual marvels being the work of the House. They are also responsible for the invention of a boardgame which has become popular with nobility called 'Chess'.
Current generation of the house includes the eldest daughter and heir, Rulership, as well as her younger sibling, Fortright. Mejiro Dober of House Mejiro was supposed to be bethroted to Rulership, but the wedding was postponed by the latter for reasons yet unknown.
House Calstone

House Calstone is a major noble family headed by Margrave Calstone ruling over the northernmost region of Faerghus.
As the one governing the region which borders Sreng, Margraviate Calstone is a militarized state which protects the Kingdom against Sreng's various war clans, maintaining a standing army in defense of the homeland. To fund this army, the house established itself as an economic center for the Kingdom, using its vast fishing, whaling and mining industry as a base. Because of this wealth its residents are able to live in (relative) comfort despite its harsh northern weather.
The current generation of the family consist of Margrave's only daughter, Light O
House Amazon

House Amazon is a noble family which rules over the Marquisate of the same name by the Leicester border, with Marquis Rhombus Amazon and his wife, Katinka Amazon at its head.
Marquisate Amazon is a fierce and proud region best known for "The Great Rhombus Mines", one of the Kingdom's largest source of iron and breeding some of the best pegasi in Fodlan, from those bred for war used by the Kingdom's knights or for speed like those used by the royal messengers and despite its cold and jagged landscape the the Marquisate has made a name for itself as the Kingdom's go-to place for anything to do with Pegasi,
Current generation of the House includes Hishi Amazon, Marquis Rhombus' daughter and heir.
House Nijinsky

House Nijinsky is a noble house that bears a rich history — one that dates as far as the War of Heroes. Their ancestors acted as the negotiators between the then-territory of Faerghus and the Church of Seiros. Now, they primarily handle the Kingdom's administration of foreign affairs with Count Nijinsky as their head.Hierarchy in the house is decided upon based on the presence of a Crest. Rice Shower, despite being the youngest, is the heir due to her bearing a desirable Crest. Other members of the current generation include Rice's older sisters: Maruzensky, and Willow (twin sister).
House Song

House Song is a line of counts governing over stretch of the border between the Adrestian Empire and the Kingdom of Faerghus, headed by its newest countess, Verxina Song.
A House which dates back to when the entirety of Fodlan was known as the Adrestian Empire, it is an old House which gained most of its notoreity during the War of the Eagle and Lion after it declared its allegiance to the revolting Faergharians, using the newly built Fortress City of Nureyev as a staging ground to advance on the Adrestian Empire, and especially House Fiori. For their contribution in the war, the House was awarded the title of count. Today they are known for their robust ironworks and smithing industries.
Recently, with the rise of its newest Countess in 1178, a new age of prosperity and revitalization of its influence in the region. This however is a double edged sword as this prosperity has also raised tensions between the well armed 'forward spear' of the Kingdon and Adrestian Empire's 'northern shield' and long-time rival, House Fiori.
The current generation includes the eldest sister, Countess Verxina herself, Cheval Grand, the middle child, and Vivlos, Verxina's youngest sister and appointed heir. Cheval Grand was sent to House Black's estate in the Adrestian Empire to ensure House Song kept their end of an under-the-table bargain, an act of hostage-diplomacy. Recently however, there seems to be word of Cheval escaping her imprisonment and finding refuge within the Central Church and Tracen Mach.
House Chigira

House Chigara was a main negotiator for the Kingdom's resistance army and the Church that helped earn the official recognition of Faerghus as an independent territory. The house was already in a steady freefall of a decline. This was due to result of the lack of relevance to maintain political power over the years, mismanagement of financial funds from the previous heads, and the pressure of the heirs to produce children that have the capability of carrying a Crest.C.B.'s mother & father infamously eloped which caused a huge scandal to the house's reputation, though C.B. had three other aunts, none of them carried or produced offspring that continued the Crest line aside from C.B., and thus was made heir. She graduated from the Officers' Academy years prior.County Chigira's territory once spanned wide enough to border part of the Leicester Alliance, but due to the weakened political power, has had part of their territory be engulfed by County Nijinsky.
House Nakayama

House Tanino
(Defunct)

House Tanino was one of the noble houses of barons in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. They were located in Itha, which bordered the nation's capital city of Fhirdiad.Members of this house, aside from Gimlet who was studying at the Royal School of Sorcery at this time, were one of the many nobles that were chosen for an expedition to Duscur due to their proximity to the chosen territory. This unfortunately proves fatal as their members were all assassinated during their mission (Tragedy of Duscur), leaving Gimlet as the only member alive.Wrecked with grief and survivor's guilt, Tanino Gimlet relinquishes his title and finds his calling as a professor in Tracen Mach Monastery, thus putting an end to House Tanino.
LEICESTER ALLIANCE

The Leicester Alliance is govened jointly by a confederacy (called as the Roundtable) by the most prominent nobles of the land called the Five Great Lords. Regardless, each area is considered as as its own autonomous region that is ruled by a different noble house, and all of those areas simply pledge allegiance to each other.Shortly after the formation of Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, the nobles of Leicester (that was then a territory of the Empire) tried to revolt against the Adrestian Empire, but failed to do so. They were then annexed by the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus in an attempt to assert more political power. After a few decades, people of this territory would then engage in war against the Kingdom, called the Cresent Moon War, and win. This earned them their independence and allowed them to form the Leicester Alliance. Its relations with the Church is neither friendly nor hostile; it allows the Eastern Church to spread its religious influence to the nation, but its impact is nowhere as near as the Western Church on the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. The Alliance lies east of Fódlan and has a rather warmer climate. Its capital city is Derdriu, a prosperous port and merchant city that lies in the north of the nation. The nation also borders the kingdom of Almyra, a nation whose invasion attempts in the past pushed the formation of the Officers Academy.

The section below lists down all of the established noble families and major organizations in the Leicester Alliance. If you intend to write a character of noble birth, you may establish your own house or join one by reaching out to any of the members of the noble house that you'd like to join.
House Nishiyama

Though the Roundtable doesn't have a leader, House Nishiyama holds the most power and influence among the Five Great Lords. It is currently headed by Duke Nishiyama. They were granted such status after playing the leading role in gaining the Alliance's independence during the Cresent Moon War. They currently govern Duchy Nishiyama, which includes the nation's capital city of Derdriu. One of the Alliance's most infamous mercenary guilds, the Sakura Consortium, has their main headquarters located in the city. The only member of the house's generation includes Seiun Sky, the sole heir of the house.
House Gold

House Gold is a lineage of dukes, warriors and soldiers, where both brute strength and a strong mind are drilled into the House's heirs from the moment of birth. Positioned right next to the Fódlan-Almyra border (Fódlan's Locket), they shoulder the House and the Leicester Alliance's survival. Duke Gold is one of Five Great Lords of the Roundtable.Duchy Gold notably includes a vast, sprawling fortress, housing soldiers and civilians alike, with the noble manor in the center. If one wishes to learn how to fight, how to be useful in battle, or how to strategize, enrolling in the Fortress of Gold is almost essential for a proper education in the military arts. The current generation includes Stay Gold, the "frail" heir who instead specialized in guerilla tactics and other innovative combat tactics that worked.
House Emerald

House Emerald is a family of Margraves and one of houses which make up the Five Great Lords of Leicester's Roundtable, headed by Margravine Emerald.
Acting as the Alliance's Ministry of foreign affairs, the House handles communication and diplomacy with the other nations. Margraviate Emerald, the territory the house presides over, is also known for its many gems and jewel mines, with the export of these gems and jewelry made from them being the House's primary business.
The current generation consists of Margravine Emerald's daughter, King Halo, heir to the family's name.
House Kurofune

House Kurofune is headed by Count Kurofune, one of the Five Great Lords of the Roundtable. They have a strong agricultural sector and trade with the other regions of the Alliance. The current generation of the noble house has numerous members; though their heir is Sodashi, one of the younger children of Count Kurofune and the only one amongst her siblings who bears a Crest — albeit a minor one.
House Bizen

House Bizen is considered to be one of the weaker noble families, headed by Count Bizen. They are located within relative close proximity to Derdriu, acting as the major suppliers of weaponry to the capital city and to other neighboring regions. They do not possess great military force though, and instead rely on their allies for protection and support. However, they have a reputation of being riddled with bad luck due to frequent stolen goods, negotations gone wrong, and untruthful allies. The current generation includes Daitaku Helios, the first to bear a Crest after many generations in her house. However she ran away from home and was never seen again by her family.
House Lola

A house of viscounts that controls the Leicester side of the Great Bridge of Myrddin. They are currently headed by Viscount Lola Cyrien.House Lola is traditionally known for their crop production and luxury goods, but in recent history has faced a decline in noble standing following their failure to keep up with House Kurofune's thriving agricultural sector. Recent generations have made it a priority to try to restore their former prestige. The heir of the house is Nashwan, but she once had an older sister, Laurel, who defected from the house years prior.
Sakura Consortium

Though not a noble house, the Sakura Consortium is a mercenary organization that is rapidly gaining recognition in the Leicester Alliance. Agents regularly offer their services to various guilds and houses across the nation, earning a reputation for neutrality, reliability, and speed. The Consortium’s unique hierarchy reflects its roots: commoners who prove their merit traditionally forgo their family names in favor of adopting the “Sakura” title for themselves, signaling both leadership and loyalty — a diverse guild unified by purpose rather than blood. Though some nobility scoff at this self-styled “counterfeit house,” the organization’s growing prominence and influence are beginning to demand acknowledgement.Though their members span far and wide across the Alliance, the known lieutenants of this organization include Bakushin O, Laurel, Chiyono O, and Chitose O.
CHURCH OF SEIROS
The Church is a religious organization that has existed prior to the first nation's, the Adrestian Empire, foundation. Their influence spreads to the entirey of Fódlan, using said power to keep peace between the three nations. Its main headquarters is in Tracen Mach Monastery.Aside from the Central Church, it also has three major/regional branches:
The Eastern Church, which operates in the Leicester Alliance.
The Western Church, which operates in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.
The Southern Church, which used to operate in the Adrestian Empire, but has since been dissolved due to an attempted coup.
They also have a militia called the Knights of Seiros which serve only to the Church's aid. They are usually tasked with providing military support to any of the three nations in hopes to maintain neutrality.

The section below lists down all of the established subgroups in the Church of Seiros. If you intend to write a character associated with this faction, please reach out to the Hosts to arrange your character's involvement in any of the subgroups.
Central Church

The Central Church acts as the governing body of the Church of Seiros. They also oversee its branches across Fódlan. It currently includes Archbishop Akikawa and a number of cardinals such as Tazuna Hayakawa."What the hell is Saint Lite doing there then???" that is a surprise tool that will help us later!
Faculty of the Officers Academy

Regardless of their affiliation with the Church of Seiros, these people serve as the many instructors that are dedicated to guiding and assisting the students of Tracen Mach Monastery.Tanino Gimlet is a former noble who hails from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. He excels as a warlock and serves as the professor of the Blue Lions.TM Opera O was born a commoner of the Leicester Alliance. With a deep appreciation for the arts, she now works as the professor of the Golden Deer.Fumino Nase is a mage who hails from a noble family of researchers in the Adrestian Empire. Instead of choosing a house, she instead assisted Orfevre in establishing the Ashen Wolves, and thus becaeme their professor.Zenno Rob Roy serves as a recordkeeper and librarian of Tracen Mach Monastery, but also shows prowess in swordfighting. Rumors spread word of her being a powerful myrmidon.Pierre Vinsmoke, despite being a war monk, is one of the many chefs of the monastery. He also doubles as an instructor for the students should time call for it though.Edelgard von Hresvelg (what the fuck) is the reigning emperor of the Adrestian Empire from an alternate Fódlan, but was dragged to this Fódlan for some reason. She now serves as an instructor for all the students.Ivetta Selwyn (what the fuck??) is one of the many commanders of Edelgard who was also somehow dragged to this version of Fódlan. She also serves as an instructor for all the students.
Knights of Seiros

As mentioned prior, the Knights of Seiros is an independent military organization that is headed by the Church of Seiros. Though they provide support to any of the three nations, they are disallowed from taking sides and are called to listen to the Church of Seiros only. They also accompany any of the houses in the Officers' Academy should they go out on missions or expeditions. This is to ensure another layer of protection and control should things go south, and effectively prevent casualties to both the staff and the student body.Mr. C.B. is one of their higher-ranking knights in the organization, but has recently proclaimed herself to be Mejiro Ramonu's personal knight.
Associates

These people are not strictly tied to the Church perse, but are involved with the monastery or academy's affairs due to other reasons.Kiyoshi/Platinum is an anomaly who retained her memories of her past lives as a trainer and assassin of two different worlds. She was offered refuge in Tracen Mach Monastery but she typically remains in its outskirts and claims to have no association with the Church of Seiros.Manhattan Cafe was a student who hailed from merchant family from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and was enrolled into the Blue Lions in 1176. However, she died on campus grounds due to a skirmish among classmates. She now roams the monastery as a ghost, but she frequents the infirmary as that was where she passed.
THE THREE HOUSES

Each of the three houses in the Officers' Academy represent the nation where each student is from. However, this page will also include the Ashen Wolves, the Church of Seiros, and True Neutrals. In a way, this page also serves as our cast list.Every house has its own lecture room (except the Ashen Wolves, which takes the monastery's library as their de facto classroom), and operates as a single class section with a dedicated professor. Students are allowed to switch houses in the middle of the year for whatever reason, regardless of their nation of residence at the beginning of the year. Students are expected to attend their lectures and trainings from Monday to Saturday, with Sunday as their only day of respite. However, they may partake in missions on Sundays should their professor see fit.Aside from a dedicated professor, each house also has a designated house leader that pretty much acts similar to a class president/class representative. House leaders are traditionally assigned based on the student's social standing, but should the responsibility ever need to be passed down to another student, the previous house leader determines how the inheritance will be carried out. These house leaders then select their retainers (second-in-commands) for the rest of the year.

hey.the page's finally changing huh? still, it's a WIP, expect frequent updates :Ptho given the amount of stuff that's in our combat system, we might have to turn into a fullblown Google Doc or manual (haha wtf), still unsure, just expect updates!
Ah Yes. Everyone's Favorite Subject. MATH!

This is basically a pseudo Dungeons & Dragons, following a TTRPG philosophy in fights by using dice rolls and a base statline to determine the outcome of battles. Since this storyline utilizes combat as means to progress through the plot, it is advised to read through this section and to please reach out for any clarifications.Trust us, this is simpler than it looks.Below is an example and an explanation.
Base Stats
This refers to the stats that you can directly manipulate when leveling up. They'll be the ones that'll change your Battlefield Stats (to be discussed in a section below).

Strength (Str): Determines Physical DMG output; also determines a part of your Attack Speed and your Physical AC.Magic (Mag): Determines Magical DMG output.Dexterity (Dex): Determines your Physical Hit and a part of your Magical Hit.Speed (Spd): Determines a major part of your Attack Speed and a bit of your Magical AC.Luck (Lck): Lowers your Crit Threshold; also affects a part of your Magical Hit and a bit of your Magical AC.Defense (Def): Reduces received Physical DMG.Resistance (Res): Reduces received Magical DMG.Movement (Mv): Determines how many squares you can cover before coming to a halt.
Battlefield Stats
These are the stats that you'll actually be using when it's time to fight. Some of them (Def/Res) were carried over from your Base Stats and operate similarly.
Hit: The modifier added to the 1d20 roll to see if an attack is a successful hit. This is determined by the weapon you are currently using as well as your Dex.AC (Physical/Magical): The number that a hit roll needs to equal to or overcome in order to register as a succesful attack.Attack Speed: Determines Double Attacks. ([Your Atk Spd - Enemies Atk Spd] ≥ 5)(Excluding Brave Weapons and Gauntlets, who will always double, except for when Atk Spd ≥ 5, then quadruples.)Raw Damage: Pure damage before Defense/Resistance calculations.Critical: The natural number in the dice roll without any modification in order to do double/triple the damage.

McQueen's sword lands with Tarumae with a 12+7, and so does Tarumae's Blizzard against McQueen with a 9+3.
On McQueen's side, she needs to grab Tarumae's Raw Damage and reduce that with her resistance (13-6=7).
On Tarumae's side, she needs to do the same. (18-4=14).This begs the question: "Why are the hit modifiers so high?" Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a PvE game, which (usually) favors the player a lot.
Well that was a heavy hit, but fret not. There are 3 ways we can heal that.Vulneraries: Ol Reliable. Drink this and instantly gain 10HP back, though it does skip your turn and you have a limited use of 3 per bottle.Magic: Depending on your class, you have access to either Healing Magic or Nosferatsu.
Healing uses the Magic Stat, divided by three, and then adding the weapons might ([Mag/3]+8) (8 is Heal's Might).
Nosferatsu is a Magic Tome that heals the user half of the total damage output.Heal Tiles: (Usually) spread out in the battlefield, at the start of the turn, if someone is on a Healing Tile, they will regain 30% of their Max HP, and temporarily gain +1 to Def and Res, as long as they stay on that tile.
REGISTRATIONS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED.
This is due to the fact that the storyline is growing exponentially in numbers, and there is only so much of us organizers to handle it all. Rest assured that we'll open it again when we are comfortable with accepting more people.
• Any posts related to the AU can be found in the #UMA3H tag, so we encourage to use it for interactions to help differentiate if the UMA3H version of your muse is being written. Major events are tagged with a specific variant (e.g. #UMA3H_Ch1) to help further differentiate these interactions based on whether they'll affect the story or not.• Since this is expected to take a couple of months (because it has somehow became a D&D-esque campaign at this point), we do not expect full dedication to the storyline. Layouts and pinneds dedicated to this SL are optional.• Due to the point mentioned above, there's two types of participants/characters in this SL: full-time and cameo. Full-times are those who are in this for the whole ride and work together to steer the story, while cameos are for people who'd love to butt in every now and then with little impact on the SL. Participants are allowed to switch between the two status at any time.

Feel free to do anything as you please with your muse, though note that:1) There is a possibility that the hosts may advise you to change your character's starting house in the academy (and thus the character's backstory) for balancing purposes. Wherever your character chooses to switch to is out of their control.2) Your character may end up adapting a certain backstory or minor details as the character in question is an NPC. NPCs refer to characters who are part of the SL due to plot relevance but are not written by anyone. They tend to have simple backstories attached to them, but the depth and complexity vary. The current NPCs are:• Yayoi Akikawa
• Tazuna Hayakawa
• Symboli Rudolf
• Sirius Symboli
• Speed Symboli
• Rulership
• Verxina
• Vivlos
• Special Week
• Sakura Chitose OIf you intend to write any of the characters mentioned, please talk to either of the hosts first regarding this to decide on how to proceed. Once your muse has been accepted as part of UMA3H, they will no longer be recognized as an NPC.

Once you have it in your heart to join, feel free to contact either of the hosts to process your registration. Ensure that you inquire first on which houses are available to join as they may be temporarily closed to force balanced numbers among the houses (see No. 1).Afterwards, please submit the following:1) Starting class of your character
2) Role in the monastery (student/staff/other)
3) A basic, summarized version of their lore/backstory
4) What you imagine your character's archtype to be in battle
5) Your status of participation (full-time or cameo)
6) Your timezoneAlternatively, you may request to be added to a waitlist if you have interest to join the SL but still undecided on joining it as a whole.
We're getting to other, advanced classes soon! Right now though, we can't really reveal much as we are still reforming our combat system. The classes currently available are all Starting Classes; they offer no differences over the other in combat and mostly serve as a guide on your character's background. It's more lore-y than combat-y, yeah.
Noble
Refers to characters who are affiliated with nobles, usually as a descendant. By extension, descendants of nobility are also from the same linage as the Ten Elites, the first heroes in Fódlan, thus giving the majority of them an access to a Crest.Commoner
Refers to characters who were born from ordinary circumstances. They often hold no Crest to their name. This class may also refer to former nobles who have defected from their house for whatever reason.Anomaly
Those who are not from the world of UMA3H are collectively referred to as Anomalies. They come from different timelines/universes and find themselves transported to this world — Tracen Mach Monastery, of all places — and are trapped until further notice. Yes, they are our isekais. As of Chapter 2, it was revealed that a cult summons these otherworlders via rituals. There are different variants of Anomalies. Some may have their memories of their past completely intact, some have jumbled/fake memories that they were from this world, and others may be aware of why they were here in the first place. It is a blanket term that refers to character who are not native to this universe.
1) Are doubles allowed?
Yes! But we recommend to reach out to the double after reaching out to the hosts in order to write the appropriate lore for your character. There's the option to make them a twin of the original, a simple doppelganger, an Anomaly (see "Starting Classes" subsection for more information on Anomalies), or whatever you and the other writer can come up with.We are capping doubles at three, with the third being conditional. If your character will be the third double to be present in the SL, please know that your character's admittance will also factor in the decision of the writers of the doubles.2) May I write more than one muse for the SL?
Yes! But we are limiting it to three muses, with the third one requiring to be a cameo and be affiliated with the Church of Seiros or be a True Neutral (see No. 3). We will also be limiting you to writing only one out of your roster should you wish to directly participate in a major event. You can choose who this character would be before, but not during, each eventFor example, Character A is your main focus for Chapter 1's Mock Battle. You can keep writing Character B, but they're limited to having a minor role in the event wherein their participation will not steer the event's ending, or being a spectator to it all. You are then free to keep using Character A as your main focus for the next Chapter, or switch over to Character B.3) Can my muse be a True Neutral/belong to no faction?
Short answer: depends.Long answer: By default, no. Though the characters are from all over the continent, note that the majority of the storyline takes place in Tracen Mach Monastery. Being a True Neutral implies that your character has no affiliation with the monastery whatsoever, thus they won't have a good reason to stay and chat up with the students or the staff. They need to be associated with the monastery or the academy if you want them to continuously be involved in the storyline. If you want your character to join a "neutral" house as a student, then technically the Ashen Wolves fits that domain. Otherwise, a True Neutral would just be umaverse/mainverse equivalent of writing a ramen shop owner that's situated three blocks away from Tracen Academy — it's possible, but your character will suffer interaction-wise. Thus, the option of writing a True Neutral is often only reserved for a writer's second or third muse, especially so if they're considered to be a cameo.4) Can my muse switch houses in the middle of the storyline?
Absolutely! Everyone's houses may be initially assigned based on their nation of residence, but should your muse find any reason to join a different house, then they are free to do so. Please inform both hosts of your decision to switch as well. Your house leader should have no control over this, it is entirely your decision as a writer. House leaders and retainers are not allowed to switch houses. They must first resign from their post as leader or retainer with someone to take their place before making the switch.5) What are the significant changes to the world compared to Fire Emblem: Three Houses?
Originally, it was going to be the plot and setting of FE3H with the characters from Umamusume taking on the roles of the game's major characters. However, with the SL developing over the course of its existence, multiple adjustments were made. Some events from FE3H were adapted (e.g. Tragedy of Duscur), some were left out or modified (e.g. Insurrection of the Seven), and some are still in the process of being adapted to UMA3H (War of Heroes). It is also worth noting that even though the uma characters take on the cast of FE3H, not all of them are perfect parallels to their FE3H counterpart. Some can be a mix of two characters, but plenty are an original interpretation of their own.6) What route will this SL take/parallel to from the original game?
We haven't decided...! And frankly, there's no proper way to answer this question as FE3H's routes heavily depend on which house the protagonist chooses — which is simply not possible in our SL. But due to the freeform nature of the SL, expect the cause of the timeskip to be entirely differentHell, expect it to not directly parallel any route at all.7) I don't know anything about FE3H but I want to join?? What to do???
That's fine! Honestly I (Ramen) didn't know shit either at first shhh BUT the group can help you up to speed with the lore should the carrd still feel like an incomprehensible mess. I know, the carrd's a bit of an information overload — but trust me, the FE3H wiki is worse. Just feel free to ask any questions!8) Do I need to write/partake in combat to participate in the SL?
Not at all! We understand that writers interested in UMA3H came here with the primary purpose of writing, not playing a virtual tabletop RPG over Twitter. Full-time participant or not, you are free to not engage in any of the combat scenarios. Note however, that this may lock you out of major events as they all tend to be combat-oriented.
The Hosts
The hosts are the ones who oversee everything in the storyline. The facilitation of the storyline ranges from lore building, the registration of new participants, archiving of events, server maintenance; they're the closest living beings you'd get of a Swiss Army Knife. Neither of them are Swiss though.Alter (@MystifyinMurmur) plays Nature and is said to be Nice. Looking out for others is how they landed into this role, seeing as they were interested in the SL and didn't wanna let it die. They know enough about the series overall, but you're free to rattle their brains to jog that memory of theirs a bit.Ramen (@HerRefinedDuty) is insanity incarnate. They first joined the event despite knowing #nothing about FE3H while still being relatively new to the verse and thus their own character. They still have no idea how they became a host. They have yet to finish their first playthrough of FE3H. Do not be like Ramen.
The Consultants
The consultants on the other hands, specialize in handling a certain aspect of UMA3H. The SL currently has three consultants: one being a combat consultant, and the other two being lore consultants. Should you have any concerns, inquiries, or even suggestions regarding the SL's combat system or worldbuilding, you're free to approach them!Lily (@OutOfHerReach), a combat consultant, got trapped in a basement to do spreadsheet calculations after she tried running after Ramen to make sure they're okay. Requests should be deposited in the little box on the right, preferably with a cookie or two.Mudsy (@Tomako_locodol), a lore consultant, is the insane one that made the map(s). She was invited on to be a supporting character then 'tismed so hard she somehow ended up as a consultant(?????) She really likes brainstorming character and world lore with people but gets distracted easily and is too shy to start anything so give her a rattle if you want something out of her. She also knew #nothing about FE3H but said fuck it we ball! "I'mma be honest I dunno how we got here"Tex (@MaximumBAKUSHIN), a yapping lore consultant, does their best to channel BAKUSHIN-energy into helping out wherever he can. Worldbuilding, collaborative storytelling, and (for some reason) spreadsheets, hold a special place in her heart, and they are always down to brainstorm ideas together. Anyways, while you were reading this I have already seized control of your jukebox. C'mon now, sing it with me! Bakushin Bakushin Bakushin! Okay, again! Count to 894! ((Also go read Star Blossom it's really good))
The Founder
Jen (@gen_donna) is original host and founder of UMA3H. Due to personal reasons, they have since handed over the the crown to both Ramen and Alter. Thank you for everything that you have done for us, and for being the spark that brought life to this fire that burns brightly to this day.
